Miliband: 'People choking on cornflakes' over Cameron pay plea

Ed Miliband has said British people will be "choking on their cornflakes" after David Cameron urged firms to use windfalls from cheaper oil to fund pay rises.

In a speech in London, the Labour leader accused the prime minister of trying to "wipe away five years of failure" on living standards.

He was speaking at a conference of the left-of-centre think tank, the Fabian Society.
