PMQs: Abbott and Miliband on Chilcot Report delay

Labour MP Diane Abbott was cheered as she stood to ask about the impact on public confidence of delays over public inquiries.

She said the public would not understand if "powerful people" would be able to delay an upcoming report into child sex allegations, as she claimed had appended over the Chilcot Report into the Iraq War.

David Cameron said there was "no mystery" over why it was taking so long, and he did not believe "anyone is trying to dodge this report, or put off this report", and no prime minister had any power over its timing.
