Ed Miliband reminded David Cameron of a "no ifs, no buts" contract to reduce net migration to the tens of thousands, and a call to should vote him out if it was not met.

David Cameron said the growth of the UK economy and the benefits system were the reasons why UK immigration had gone up, and accused Labour of wanting to "trash the economy".
