Bloom on Evans comments about UKIP and 'divisive' Farage
A former UKIP MEP has described the party leader as a "very ruthless operator" where critics have their membership card "chopped up".
Godfrey Bloom, who was later an independent MEP, said his former flat mate Nigel Farage was "nothing like" the "good old Nigel with a pint image" seen in the media.
And speaking of current deputy chairman's Suzanne Evans appearance on Thursday's Daily Politics, which later saw her frozen out by the party, Mr Bloom said it was "like watching a 1938 politburo member criticising Joe Stalin."
