Scottish independence: Nicola Sturgeon says currency warning is 'campaign tactic'

Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has described claims that an independent Scotland would not be part of a formal currency agreement with the UK as "campaign tactics".

Speaking in Edinburgh, Chancellor George Osborne said a vote for Scottish independence would mean walking away from the pound.

Speaking to the BBC, Ms Sturgeon echoed the comments of former Labour First Minister Henry McLeish, who said people in Scotland should not be "fooled by the Chancellor's campaign tactics".
