Poverty in Wales: Living costs 'a bit of a nightmare'

A third of children living in poverty, food bank recipients at an all-time high and the cost of living going up.

The Welsh government is aiming to address these and other issues in its new Tackling Poverty Action Plan.

It covers areas such as households where no one is in work, educational attainment of children from low income families and the health of our most deprived communities.
