Presenter speaks out on 'unacceptable' out-of-hours care

BBC Cymru Wales presenter Beti George has spoken of her experience when her partner recently fell ill.

She spoke out as a patient watchdog said GP out-of-hours health care in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan is "diabolical" and should be overhauled.

Ms George said her partner David, who has Alzheimer's, had been violently sick on the Friday night and on the Saturday morning she found it very difficult to wake him.

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB) said it was improving the service in response to growing demand.
