Gleision deaths: Moment of flood sounded like 'jet engine'

A miner working at the Gleision Colliery has been describing his dramatic escape when the pit flooded killing some of his colleagues.

David Wyatt described how he had been pinned down by the volume of water but managed to frantically crawl to safety.

Four other miners lost their lives in the tragedy three years ago.

Mine manager Malcolm Fyfield and the mine's owners MNS deny manslaughter charges.

The trial continues.

Nick Palit reports.
