Principality Building Society profits up to £28.7m

One of the UK's biggest building societies, has reported growth in its profits and record mortgage lending levels as part of its annual results.

The Principality, based in Cardiff, said it remains prudent about who it lends to.

But some are concerned about another price bubble being created in the housing market.
