John Kerry seeks EU support for military action against Syria

US Secretary of State John Kerry has begun a four day trip to Europe in a bid to bolster support for military action against Syria.

Mr Kerry held talks with the European Union's 28 foreign ministers in Lithuania before flying to Paris. He will also visit London on Sunday.

But the response from the EU has been cautious with a joint response calling for the US to delay any military action until after United Nations weapons inspectors reveal their findings.
