Body of British doctor, who died in Syrian prison, handed to family
The body of a British doctor who died in a Syrian prison has been taken to neighbouring Lebanon, where it has been handed over to his family.
Dr Abbas Khan was within days of being released when Syrian authorities said he had taken his own life.
The British government has said that he was effectively murdered.
His mother told the BBC's Lyse Doucet that she could not believe her son's intentions would have been misunderstood.
