Hong Kong protests: Students blamed for cancelled talks

Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong are "disappointed" but "not surprised" at the cancellation of talks with the authorities to resolve the dispute, a student has claimed.

Student protester Harold Li accused the government of mismanaging the conflict, which has seen tens of thousands of people take to the streets.

Hong Kong has blamed student representatives for "undermining" the basis for constructive dialogue between the two sides.
