Delhi women work under blazing sun to feed their family
There has been no let-up in the heatwave conditions that have swept across India for the last few days.
Officials say more than 1,100 people have died in the past week.
Hospitals have been put on alert to treat heatstroke patients and authorities have advised people to stay indoors.
Worst affected states are Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in southern India. Meanwhile Delhi continues to reel under an intense heat wave.
The BBC's Zubair Ahmed went to a nearby village where women are working all day under the blazing sun to earn just four dollars a day in order to feed their children.
