Fears over third Japan nuclear reactor

Officials in Japan are warning that a third reactor is suffering cooling problems at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant raising fears of another explosion.

So far two reactors have suffered hydrogen blasts since Friday's devastating earthquake and tsunami.

Now Japanese media are reporting that fuel rods are partly exposed in the third reactor.

However the government says the risk of an uncontrolled leak of radiation is low.

About 2,000 bodies are reported to have been found on Monday in two coastal districts of the Miyagi region.
