Cypriot villagers hit hard by banking crisis

Cypriot villages, whose economies are dependent on visitors and foreign tourists, have been hit hard by the country's ongoing financial crisis.

Areas like Pedoulas in the south have been reduced to ghost towns as consumers stay at home, afraid to spend their limited cash reserves.
