WHO says new coronavirus may be passed person to person

The World Health Organisation has said it is likely that a deadly new strain of a virus that has killed at least 20 people can be passed by close personal contact.

In France a second man is in intensive care with the disease after sharing a hospital room with the country's first victim.

The BBC's Rebecca Morelle said: "They really don't know at the moment how this virus is passing... They need to find these things out quite quickly."
