Ukraine's ambassador to the UN: 'There is no civil war in Ukraine'

Ukraine's ambassador to the United Nations, Yuriy Sergeyev, has said that there is "no civil war in Ukraine".

The comment came after Russia's President Putin insisted that the country had descended into full scale civil war.

The verbal confrontation comes amid ongoing violent clashes the east of Ukraine in the run-up to Sunday's presidential election.
