Ukraine crisis: Eastern town prepares for election

Ukraine is preparing to hold perhaps its most important election since splitting from the Soviet Union in 1991, with hopes that it might bring an end to months of political crisis.

However, in the east of the country separatist militia are occupying several towns and are preventing the vote from taking place.

Mark Lowen visited an electoral commission in Krasnoarmeisk, one of the only places in the east where the Kiev authorities maintain control.
