Life on the streets of Baghdad

Iraq is a country suffering a new wave of violence, with more than 6,000 civilians killed so far this year - almost as many as at the height of the conflict there.

Under this cloud of violence, people are trying to get on with their lives - but they say it is getting more and more difficult to do so.

The BBC spoke to two people working on the streets of Baghdad - photographer Raad Mohammed and newspaper seller Waleed Arafat - about life in the capital.
