Warren Harding's 'lusty' letters published

For a while history looked likely to forget the brief presidency of Warren Harding, the 29th US president who died after only two years in office in 1923.

But that was before the the publication of his letters, almost 1,000 of them containing details of an affair with his mistress of 15 years.

The Harding family had until now prevented the letters from being released to the public.
