House of Commons speaker John Bercow has won the Buckingham seat with 34,617 votes, a majority of 22,942.
Mr Bercow is a Conservative MP but must remain neutral in his House of Commons duties.
Traditionally, the other main parties represented in Parliament do not stand against the Speaker, so only UKIP and the Greens challenged him for the seat.
UKIP's David Fowler got 11,675 votes and Alan Francis got 7,400 votes for the Green Party.

So far it's been a shocking night for Labour who overall suffered in the key seats it was hoping win from the Conservatives. It's been a difficult night for UKIP, too.
Douglas Carswell held on in Clacton although with 20% less of the share of the vote but Conservative, Rebecca Harris had a resounding victory in the UKIP key target seat of Castle Point.
The party did manage to achieve several second places across the East but the region has shown its colours this election and that colour is blue.
