    Conservative candidate Pritti Patel has held her Witham seat with a 19,554 majority, representing 57.5% of the vote.

    Ms Patel got 27,123 votes beating UKIP's Garry Cockrill into second place with 7,569 votes

    Labour's John Clarke got 7,467 votes and Liberal Democrat Josephine Hayes got 2,891 votes.

    James Abbott received 2,038 votes for the Green Party and Doreen Scrimshaw got 80 votes for the Christian Peoples Alliance.

    Labour wins back Cambridge from Lib Dems with a narrow victory.

    Labour's Daniel Zeichner won the seat with 18,646 votes (up 11.7%) from its MP Julian Huppert who gained 18,047 votes (down 4.3%).

    Conservative candidate Chamali Fernando came third with 8,117 votes, and the Green Party's candidate Rupert Read came fourth with 4,109 votes.
