Melania Trump has taken the stage in her first major speech in her husband's campaign.
"When it comes to my husband, I am definitely biased, and for good reason," she said. "He never had a hidden agenda when it comes to his patriotism."
She gave her life background and explained why she loves living in the US, talking about gaining lawful citizenship.
"The greatest privilege on planet Earth," she said. "I cannot take the freedoms this country offers for granted."
She said Mr Trump's achievements speak for themselves and he knows how to win. She described him as tough, fair, kind and caring.

He said he was mourning the three officers who just died in Baton Rouge, Louisiana but cheered the acquittal of police office Brian Rice of Baltimore, who had been charged in connection with the Freddie Gray case. He has called the Black Lives Matter movement "anarchy" and "the enemy".

The mother of one of the Americans who died in the 2012 Benghazi attacks said Hillary Clinton lied to her and that she is fully to blame for her son's death.
"When I saw Hillary Clinton at his funeral, she looked at me squarely in the eye and said a video was responsible for his death," she said. She said she is still waiting for an answer on why her son is dead and the State Department won't give her answers. "How could she do this?"

Traditionally, the nominee speaks on the final night of the convention. But unsurprisingly Donald Trump is breaking with tradition and introducing his wife Melania on day one.
Mr Trump is not known for being brief in his remarks or particularly disciplined in his introductions. On Saturday, Mr Trump spoke for more than 20 minutes before introducing his running mate, Indiana Governor Mike Pence. His remarks were mostly focused on himself and his rival Democrat Hillary Clinton, not Mr Pence.

Melania Trump, who has kept a low profile throughout the campaign, will headline tonight's speeches. CNN reports that she has been working with a speechwriter for a few weeks and that she hopes to show the human side of her husband Donald. The Slovenian-born former model told an American magazine she thinks independently from him.
"I have my own mind," she told Harper's Bazaar in January. "I am my own person, and I think my husband likes that about me."
