Duncan Jarman - Leonardo Di Caprio's prosthetic make-up artist on The Revenant - has spoken to 5 live about how he created the "extreme make-up" seen in the film.
He's nominated along with the make-up and hair department for creating effects, including Tom Hardy's partially scalped head and Leonardo DiCaprio's wounds from the bear attack.
You may need a strong stomach for this...
Quote MessageThere's lots and lots of work involved - he's covered from his torso up, it's a four-and-a-half hour make up. There's blood tubes in there, the wounds have got to be stitchable so you can use a real needle and threat to stick the wounds together.
Hot-footing their way over from the Grimsby premiere earlier this week, Sacha Baron Cohen has turned up in a much more red carpet appropriate suit along with his actress wife, Isla Fisher.
Sacha sported a dressing gown and slippers for the Grimsby premiere - Isla may be hiding slippers under her long dress.

You may not recognise the name Sian Grigg but she is responsible for one of The Revenant's 14 nominations.
She's up for make up and hair and told us on the red carpet she was lucky on the shoot as she and her team got to wear cold weather gear unlike Leonardo and the rest of the cast.
They spent most of the time freezing. On film.
In past years we've had an office sweepstakes to predict all the Oscar winners.
This year we're doing something a bit different - focusing solely on what colour dress the best actress winner will be wearing.
We've covered all the main bases - colours of the rainbow as well as black, white, silver and gold.
The person who has drawn purple feels like he's drawn the short straw, but Natalie Portman won in purple a few years ago for Black Swan - so there's still hope.

Is there any reason why we should persist with separate awards for actors and actresses these days? A lead in a film is a lead in a film, why do we have to separate awards for each gender?
Chris, York
Brooklyn is one of the best picture nominees and has a nomination for best actress for Saoirse Ronan.
The film is about a young Irish girl who emigrates to New York in the 1950s.
Director John Crowley is on the red carpet with the film's producers:
Quote MessageIt was a difficult film to get made and the response has been overwhelming from audiences but the nomination is the icing on the cake.
Whoopi Goldberg has arrived with a rather large hand ornament - is it a spider? Is it an octopus? We're not quite sure, but we're guessing it's quite expensive...
