  15. Snow disruption across the UKpublished at 12:38 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2017

Not everyone is enjoying the snow. It wouldn't be a snowy day without significant travel disruption. Here's the state of play:

    • Some roads are closed especially in Wales and the West Midland, following collisions.
    • Buses are suspended in the Midlands, Oxford and London.
    • Airports including Bimingham and East Midlands have closed to clear their runways of snow, while Luton has re-opened. There are many flight delays elsewhere.
    • Trains are delayed and disrupted in many areas between the West Midlands and London.
    • Some London Underground lines are part-suspended, and the Overground is part-closed.

Basically if you're going anywhere not on skis or your own two feet, it's best to check Twitter and local radio for updates before you set out.

And what about tomorrow, when the work and school weeks start? The forecasters say it's still going to be cold, with some snow flurries and a risk of icy surfaces.
