    Detectives investigating the death of a man at a tram stop in Birmingham have charged a man with murder.

    Alaeldien Ahmed is accused of killing 57-year-old Anthony Banting from Sparkhill at Soho Benson Road. 

    The 26 year old from Winson Green will appear before magistrates in Birmingham.

    Mr Banting died from multiple stab wounds shortly after getting off a tram last month.
