Police believe a house at which gun shots were fired in Birmingham last night was subject to a "targeted incident".
The West Midlands force said it received a 999 call to Highters Road, Kings Heath, where officers "recovered ballistic material".

A man has been sentenced to five years in prison for a fire at Birmingham's Wholesale Market in 2015.
Stephen Wilkinson, 60, of Mickleton Close, Redditch, had earlier this month been found guilty of arson reckless as to whether life was in danger, having set fire to a pile of boxes, causing damage to the venue totaling more than £500,000.
He had worked at the market from the age of 15.
Wilkinson is set to be released on licence upon serving two and a half years.
At its peak, 40 firefighters tackled the severe blaze at the site in Pershore Street, Digbeth.
A man died and a baby boy suffered serious injuries in the crash in Wolverhampton.

A boy has been arrested after the car he was driving was involved in a crash in which a male passenger died and, West Midlands Ambulance Service said, a baby was seriously injured.
Staffordshire Police said a 16-year-old - questioned on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving - has been released under investigation.
A 51-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. In addition to the injured baby, other occupants included the baby's mother, 23, and a 49-year-old woman. The force said the pair were taken to hospital as a precaution.
The crash involved a Peugeot car and happened at about 18:30 on Sunday on the A449 Stourbridge Road in Penn, Wolverhampton, the force said.
Police followed Kamar Farooq until he crashed into a traffic island and another car.

Police are hunting for the driver of a car that hit and fatally injured a man in Edgbaston this morning.
The crash happened at the junction of Rotton Park Road and Shenstone Road at about 01:50. The victim, aged 47, was taken to hospital where he died.
