    A new weather warning's been issued for snow , externaland covers part of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

    The Met Office says its yellow alert runs from 03:00 tomorrow morning through to 15:00 on Friday.

    It says the snow could lead to longer journeys on the roads as well as affecting bus and train services.

    A Stafford woman's among Tesco customers who complained to the supermarket that their Christmas turkeys were "rotten" or had "gone off".

    Kirsten Shore, an events manager from the county town, said she was "devastated" to have her Christmas meal ruined.

    On Twitter, she posted, external that the "gone off turkey" had wrecked the meal, wasting £250 and resulting in sick people.

    Other people tweeted similar complaints, leading to Tesco apologising to those affected, saying it would give them a refund and investigate "the small number of complaints".

    Two men have been hurt in what police, external have called a "cowardly attack" in Shrewsbury.

    It happened early on Saturday morning in Castle Gates, police say, after they were called to reports of a fight involving about 20 people.

    The force says that after the fight, a man in his 50s and another in his 40s suffered injuries to their faces and needed hospital treatment.

    A 25-year-old man and 27-year-old man, both from Shrewsbury, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and released under investigation.

    The Heart of England NHS Trust collected more money in car parking charges than any other hospital trust in England last year, according to figures collected by the Press Association.

    Visitors to the hospitals it runs paid £4,865,000 in 2016/17.

    The Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is next in the West Midlands league table, after collecting £2,551,096, closely followed by the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals and the The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

    At the other end of the scale, the Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust collected just £97,390.

    Comparisons are difficult though, because some of the hospital trusts administer more sites than others.

    Warwickshire's Chris Woakes helped Alastair Cook move England to a dominating position on day three of the fourth Ashes Test.

    Woakes (pictured, right) shared a 59-run partnership with Cook, who went on to finish 244 not out, before the Warwickshire all-rounder was out for 26.

    Earlier, Worcestershire's Moeen Ali fell to spinner Nathan Lyon for 20.

    England finished the day on 491-9, giving them a lead of 164.

    Armed officers helped to arrest two men at Asda in Sinfin on suspicion of stealing a car in Burton, external.

    Derbyshire Police said the suspect vehicle was spotted by an unmarked car and followed to the supermarket before being boxed in by officers.

    The force said the driver also tested positive for cocaine.

    A yellow weather warning of icy conditions for all of the West Midlands is still in place this morning., external

    The Met Office's alert runs until 11:00 and warns of potential injuries from slips and falls on slippery surfaces.

    The organisation also warns drivers to be careful, saying in some places showers may have washed off gritting treatment.

    There are four flood warnings in place for the West Midlands this morning, which mean flooding is expected in those areas.

    The Environment Agency says people in those areas should take care and keep an eye on local conditions.

    It says in some of the cases, it expects rivers levels to peak this morning, external but warns there could be more rainfall tomorrow and over the weekend.
