After torrential rain hit parts of the region over the Bank Holiday, Birmingham City Council says it will analyse what happened and work out how to prevent further flooding.
Selly Oak and Selly Park were particularly bad after thunderstorms caused flash flooding.
Yesterday residents were left clearing up the damage.

A drainage engineer who's being hailed as a hero hopes to meet up with the man he saved from drowning.
Ben Lees, 25, was heading home on Sunday night when he was forced to take a different road in Walsall due to flooding.
He spotted a submerged vehicle and dived into flood water to save a man who was trapped in his car.

Coventry City fans are celebrating their club’s first promotion in more than 50 years.
The Sky Blues beat Exeter City 3-1 yesterday in the League Two play-off final.
About 40,000 Coventry supporters were at Wembley to see them secure an immediate return to League One.
