Collapsed construction giant Carillion is being investigated over allegations of insider dealing in shares, it has emerged.
The Wolverhampton-based firm went into administration in January, after accumulating a £1.5bn debt pile.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which is investigating events that led up to the firm's collapse, disclosed in a letter to Labour MP Frank Field that it is "looking into" claims of insider dealing.
"We are also considering whether earlier announcements made by Carillion were false or misleading," the letter from FCA chief Andrew Bailey reads.
