Warwick Road in part of Solihull is likely to be closed until at least midday, whilst officers carry out an investigation into a hit-and-run death.

A boy was taken to hospital suffering a head injury after crashing down a slope on his bike whist riding off-road in the woods.
Emergency services were called to Perry Wood Local Nature Reserve, off Redfern Avenue, Worcester, at about 15:30 on Monday.
He was anaesthetised at the scene before being taken to hospital, the ambulance service said. , external

Severn Trent Water said its reservoirs were in a "healthy position", despite others around the country facing a hosepipe ban.
The water company, which serves more than 4.2 million homes and businesses in the Midlands, has faced issues with pumping enough water to meet demand since the dry weather started.
However, a spokesperson said they have no plans for a ban, but they are asking customers to remain "water wise".

Families of some of the Birmingham pub bombings victims are in London today for a Court of Appeal hearing that will eventually decide the scope of the future inquests into the deaths of the 21 people killed in 1974.
The Justice4the21 campaign group has raised more than £60,000 in legal costs.
They want the planned inquest to include evidence about the alleged perpetrators of the bombings in the two Birmingham pubs.
The coroner is appealing against that decision.

A planning appeal has been launched after Shropshire Council refused retrospective permission for luxury camping site in Bridgnorth., external
The plans at Highfield Farm in Hilton, refused in September, included three temporary wooden structures, a bell tent, kitchen area and shower block.
Case officer Sara Jones said despite the economic benefit, the business would have a “detrimental impact” on the appearance of the area and could not justify “inappropriate development” of green belt land.
But applicant David Steele believes it is a suitable diversification to his farming business.
A final decision will be made by the government’s planning inspectorate later in the year.
