    A man's in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed outside a pub in Birmingham.

    Police say the 41-year-old was attacked early on Sunday morning on Barker Street, Lozells, near The Observatory pub.

    Detectives say they're trawling through CCTV from the area to try and work out what happened.

    Ozzy Osborne will perform in the city of his birth on his final world tour when it comes to the UK next year.

    The Birmingham-born singer announced earlier this year that he was retiring from touring, though he will perform select live shows in the future.

    Today he's revealed the details of the UK and Ireland leg of the tour, which starts in Dublin on 30 January.

    He'll then perform six shows in the UK, including Birmingham, before finishing at the O2 Arena on 11 February.

    A fire at a unit used for stripping car parts in West Bromwich is believed to have started accidentally.

    More than 40 firefighters attended to the blaze at a single storey unit on Harvills Industrial Estate just before 08:00 this morning.

    West Midlands Fire Service crews remain at the scene this afternoon where they are damping down.

    One man was treated at the scene and taken to hospital.

    One manager called his side "dopey" and the other praised his side's "stellar" finishing after West Brom beat Stoke City 2-1 at the weekend.

    Spaceflight writer Phill Parker, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, is selling his lifelong collection, which consists of nearly 200 lots.

    It includes an astronaut's drink tube - filled with grapefruit and pineapple juice - and a MIR international space suit.

    The Phill Parker Collection of Space Exploration Memorabilia will be sold at Hansons Auctioneers in Etwall, Derbyshire, today.

    A 17-year-old boy remains in hospital after going into cardiac arrest when he was Tasered by police.

    He was part of a group involved in a disturbance in Prior Deram Walk, Canley, Coventry, just after 21:30 BST on Saturday, West Midlands Police said.

    Police Tasered the teenager in a bid to detain him, but he went into cardiac arrest and needed CPR. He remains in a serious but stable condition.

    Four other teenagers were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder.

    The initial stages of an inquest into the death of a man, whose remains were found by the side of a motorway three years ago, begins today.

    Surjit Takhar, 37, went missing from Oldbury in 2008 and the discovery was made seven years later close to the M54 near Telford, Shropshire.

    Maintenance workers found his remains at the bottom of an embankment next to a slip road from junction four.

    Police inquiries into his death are continuing after three people arrested last year on suspicion of murder were released under investigation.

    The coroner is due to hold a pre-inquest review today.

    A man's continuing to be questioned by police after the grandson of The Specials singer Neville Staple was stabbed to death.

    Fidel Glasgow, son of Mr Staple's daughter Melanie, died in hospital after being stabbed in Coventry on Saturday.

    He was found injured at the rear of Club M in Croft Road in the early hours of Saturday.

    Another man, aged 23, was found with stab injuries in Queen Victoria Road and remains in a serious but stable condition following surgery on Saturday afternoon.

    Worcestershire all-rounder Moeen Ali was named man of the match after England beat India in the fourth Test, to secure a series victory.
