    Bristol Rovers FC is hoping to trace a group of "lifesavers" who gave first aid to a man who suffered a cardiac arrest on Saturday.

    David Parker, the club's safety officer, said the man's family were "keen to meet these people and say thank you" and he asked anyone involved to contact the club.

    Police are investigating after a group of men illegally climbed the M48 Severn Crossing at the weekend. The bridge was closed at the time.

    Police were called when the group was spotted climbing the bridge.

    Highways England said it was a "deeply concerning" climb and they would be pursuing a prosecution for criminal damage.

    Police forces across the West of England are working alongside a charity to help prevent the viewing of indecent images of children online.

    The Lucy Faithfull Foundation, external says it has seen an increase in the number of people asking for help to stop viewing illegal images.

    Police will work with the charity to explain the consequences of illegal viewing to offenders - including possible imprisonment, break up of family and being put on the Sex Offenders Register.

    Too many people, especially men across all age groups, seem to think it is okay to view sexual images of under 18s online. It is not. Not only is it illegal, but it causes great harm to the children whose images are used.

    Police searching for a man who has been missing since a night out in Burnham-on-Sea last week say they have a new confirmed sighting of him at another bar in the town.

    Dean Tate, 40, was last seen at TA8s bar in Pier Street at 02:00 GMT on Saturday, having been seen four hours earlier in the nearby Somerset and Dorset pub.

    Police divers are continuing to scour lakes and rivers, while search and rescue teams in boats and on foot search river banks and the shoreline.

    Mounted police and helicopters have also joined in the search.

    Avon and Somerset Police said there had been two other reported sightings in the early hours of Saturday but neither could be confirmed as being Mr Tate.

    A Facebook page, external has been set up to co-ordinate community search efforts in housing estates and areas not yet covered.

    Police officers urged people looking for Mr Tate not to take risks or to enter the water.

    A group of men put themselves at "serious risk" by climbing the M48 Severn Bridge at the weekend.

    A Highways England spokesman said a security gate was damaged during the illegal climb and they will be "pursuing a prosecution for criminal damage".

    The fiancee of a man missing since a night out in Burnham-on-Sea on Friday says he was last seen in the early hours of Saturday near the Lighthouse pub.

    Sarah Jane Reeves said Dean Tate had been spotted at 02:30 GMT on Marine Drive "acting strangely".

    Police initially said the 40-year-old was last seen at the Devon & Somerset pub at 22:00 on Friday.

    Ms Reeves urged anyone with information to contact police.
