    Earlier, we asked if you would be willing to pay an extra £50 to have your garden waste taken away by the council.

    Rugby Borough Council are considering introducing the charge. 

    And Coventry City Council is thinking about introducing fortnightly collections.

    On Facebook, external Chris Williams said: "Just what's needed another way to encourage fly tipping."

    But Jason Basiliauskas said: "Bedworth and Nuneaton have been fortnightly rotation for a couple of years now. With a wheelie bin it's only a problem of you miss a collection and you have four weeks of rubbish to put in the bin."

    Ahmed Hamed was last spotted in the town's Brunswick Street area at around 10:30 on 9 November. 

    He is believed to have links to Birmingham and London.

  10. Chapel 'one of a handful in Europe to have medieval paintings in place'published at 09:21 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2016

    Renovation experts have uncovered what's thought to be a medieval wall painting in a Warwickshire chapel.

    The Guild Hall in Stratford-upon-Avon, thought to date from the 13th century, already houses uncovered wall paintings, thought to have been covered over or whitewashed during the 16th century.

    Conservation specialists Hawkes, Edwards and Cave recently uncovered another.

    Restoration work is currently being done to preserve the paintings and the conservationists believe there are more under wooden panelling on the walls.

    The Stratford Town Trust, which commissioined the work, says the conservators think the Guild Chapel is one of only a handful of places in Europe to have an almost complete medieval decorative scheme still in situ.

    Coventry City lie 20th in the table, just one point ahead of this weekend's opponents MK Dons.

    Laura Mvula has a new role - composing music for the Royal Shakespeare Company.  

    The singer-songwriter, 30, from Birmingham, will write the music for Antony And Cleopatra, directed by Iqbal Khan, composing for a professional theatre production for the first time.

    The RSC announced composers for its spring/summer season, saying that they "will write the music for some of Shakespeare's most political and bloody plays, set in and around ancient Rome".

    Mira Calix will pen the music for Julius Caesar while Tim Sutton will compose the music for Titus Andronicus.
