    In Prime Minister's Questions, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said the service in England was now in crisis. 

    He said almost every NHS hospital could soon face the same financial strain as those in Warwickshire.

    Wasps' Director of Rugby Dai Young said losing Elliot Daly to suspension is a big blow for the club. 

    Daly has been banned for three weeks for his red card playing for England against Argentina. 

    It means as well as missing England's test match against Australia, Daly will sit out Wasps' two European ties against Connacht Rugby team.

    Three cars have been stolen from the West Midlands region while their owners were defrosting them.

    Warwickshire Police says two vehicles were stolen, external from Alvechurch and Redditch, both in north Worcestershire, and in Bedworth, north Warwickshire.

    The two vehicles taken from Worcestershire have now been recovered.

    A car has been driven at a Warwickshire policewoman in Wishaw. 

    She was unhurt in Tuesday night's incident and the force is now looking for the vehicle. 

    Two officers spotted the blue, external Ford Fiesta in a gateway off Ryefield Lane at 21:30 and they thought it smelled of cannabis. 

    When they got near the car, the driver drove at the female officer. The Fiesta then crashed into a barrier, but managed to get away.

    An "exceptional reprieve" is how councillor Michael Stokes has described the deal reached to save speedway at the Brandon Stadium in Coventry.

    Late-night talks between the stadium's operator Avtar Sandhu and Bees boss Mick Horton mean the sport will continue for at least one more year. 

    Mr Sandhu will also re-install the equipment he removed from the stadium, as well as restoring the track for racing.

    Delays in transferring patients from ambulances to the A&E unit at Coventry's University Hospital almost topped 10,000 hours in 2015, according to figures obtained by the BBC.

    The waiting time is almost double what it was in 2013 and is the largest rise within the West Midlands Ambulance service area.  

    A spokesperson from University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire said "as a whole, ambulance transfers at University Hospital in Coventry normally take place within 15 minutes. However, this may take longer during times of high demand."

    They already attract thousands of Rugby fans every other week at the Ricoh, but Wasps start a brand new sporting adventure in Coventry this weekend.

    Their new netball team will play in the Vitality Super-league from February, but their first home game will take place on Sunday at the newly re-named Ericcson Arena.

    All 4,700 tickets have already been snapped up to see the Wasps take on the England U21s in the first of a series of friendlies to preview the new season.

    Speedway at Brandon will continue next year after last-ditch talks between the operator and the Coventry Bees. 

    Avtar Sandhu had removed the floodlights as well as kitchen equipment and the shale track surface.

    Talks arranged by the leader of Rugby Borough Council have led to Mr Sandhu agreeing to restore the stadium to its previous condition, meaning racing will take place there next year.
