A father and daughter from Warwickshire are hoping their triathlon adventures will inspire other children with disabilities to take up sport.

Chloe, who's 11, has cerebral palsy and is visually impaired.

She and her father Stephan are taking on the Super Hero triathlon this weekend.

They will swim almost a mile, cycle 20 miles and finish with a five-mile run.

Chris Woakes says the atmosphere at the day-night England Test on Thursday will be fantastic.

Warwickshire's 28-year-old is in the England squad and looking to start against the West Indies at home ground Edgbaston.

He said: "Whenever you play at Edgbaston it's always brilliant.

"The Hollies Stand is always on fire. The atmosphere will be fantastic and it will be exciting for the players to be involved with that."

Wasps will face Newcastle Falcons, Ospreys, London Irish and Leicester Tigers in their pool of the Anglo-Welsh Cup.

Their first game will be against Newcastle at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday, 4 November - kick off 15:00.

Wasps' other games are:

• Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium on Friday,10 November, kick off 19:30
• London Irish at the Madejski Stadium on 26 January
• Leicester Tigers at the Ricoh Arena on the weekend of 2 February

A Coventry school has earned a glowing four-star review for the production it has taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, external.

Chris Woakes says he hopes he has "done enough" to get back into the England side as the day-night Test at Edgbaston looms.

The first Test to be played in England under the conditions gets under way on Thursday, with West Indies the visitors at Woakes' home ground.

The 28-year-old says he is fit to play after suffering a side strain in June.

"When you're injured there's always someone knocking on the door ready to take your place.

"When you get injured that's frustrating for you and you have to prove yourself again.

"I hope I have done enough to show that I'm ready, and fingers crossed I do play."

Alex Goodwin is treated in the US after being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

More detail has emerged on the Royal Shakespeare Company's sale of 10,000 costume items used in productions from the past 20 years.

Among them are 12 uniform coats from its 2008 Hamlet, which had David Tennant in the title role.

He hasn't played for his country since suffering a side strain during the Champions Trophy at the beginning of June, but the 28-year-old returned for Warwickshire in the County Championship last week.

A burglar who reached through a 'dog flap' to undo the bolts on the back door of a Nuneaton house was caught after leaving his own paw-print , externalbehind.

A 50-year lease has been signed to keep Coventry's Albany Theatre at its home on Butts Road.

The City Council will act as guarantor for the first 25 years.

The theatre will also take on an extra 1,000 square metres of space, which will be used for a programme promoting well-being through the arts.
