    A father and daughter from Warwickshire are hoping their triathlon adventures will inspire other children with disabilities to take up sport.

    Chloe, who's 11, has cerebral palsy and is visually impaired.

    She and her father Stephan are taking on the Super Hero triathlon this weekend.

    They will swim almost a mile, cycle 20 miles and finish with a five-mile run.

    Warwickshire's 28-year-old is in the England squad and looking to start against the West Indies at home ground Edgbaston.

    Chris Woakes says he hopes he has "done enough" to get back into the England side as the day-night Test at Edgbaston looms.

    The first Test to be played in England under the conditions gets under way on Thursday, with West Indies the visitors at Woakes' home ground.

    The 28-year-old says he is fit to play after suffering a side strain in June.

    Bears Bowler Chris Woakes says he is fit to play for England in this week's day-night Test match against the West Indies at home ground Edgbaston.

    He hasn't played for his country since suffering a side strain during the Champions Trophy at the beginning of June, but the 28-year-old returned for Warwickshire in the County Championship last week.

  17. New 50-year lease for Coventry theatrepublished at 14:34 British Summer Time 15 August 2017

    A 50-year lease has been signed to keep Coventry's Albany Theatre at its home on Butts Road.

    The City Council will act as guarantor for the first 25 years.

    The theatre will also take on an extra 1,000 square metres of space, which will be used for a programme promoting well-being through the arts.
