Hundreds of police officers from across the UK paid a visit to the Knife Angel sculpture outside Derby Cathedral this morning.
The trip formed part of the National Black Police Association's annual conference, taking place at Pride Park Stadium.
The sculpture, built with 100,000 bladed weapons seized by police forces, is on display in the city until 29 October.
NBPA president Tola Munro, from Gwent Police, said: "I was very keen to bring the delegates to see the Knife Angel as a symbol of our continued work against knife crime."
Derbyshire Police estimates 61,000 visitors have viewed the artwork since it was installed on 1 October.
