    BBC Radio Devon

Campaigners fighting to save hospital beds in a Devon town say they're "relieved" health commissioners are beginning the process of reopening them.

The Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) said it is "under no illusion" the difficulty that the hospital will have in reopening with a shortage of qualified nursing and physiotherapy staff nationally and locally.

But it added it will "build on engagement" with the local stakeholder group, local workforce information and clinical expertise to develop future options.

Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust said it is "supportive" of the plans and will do its best to address the staffing and safety concerns which led to the temporary closure.

Our museum is quite unusual because all the funding in the 19th Century was raised through public subscription. That's quite significant in our history because it meant that actually there was this real sense of local ownership, that this was their museum, and that's really lasted 150 years. RAMM is at the very heart of the community."

Countryside campaigners say although there have been 48 masts approved in Cornwall over the past three years, just a quarter of homes are able to access a 4G signal from all the major providers.

The operators say they can have difficulties in finding suitable sites, community opposition and challenges in getting planning permission.

It can be quite frustrating here [in Treen, West Cornwall]. I'm unable to contact the local supplier and I need some more materials delivered, so I'm going to have to drive to find a signal. But I just take that as part of what I have to do when I'm working in this area."
