Met Office downgrades weather warningpublished at 10:38 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2019
An amber weather warning for snow in parts of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire had been due to last until 11:00 GMT.
The Met Office has now ended it early.
A yellow warning for snow and ice remains in place, based on both the likelihood of wintry weather and the severity of its impact.
The latest warning says the snow will "slowly fade away during Friday" but "even where snow does not fall icy stretches are still to be expected".
