We use a size three or four football, so not playing with a big old football like we used to years and years ago. They learn their techniques first before they go into heading and often or not when we coach, there's no kicking the ball above head height anyway."

Somehow the rope got behind my right ankle and took me from a standing position to upside down. Next thing I knew, I was eye-level with another ringer who was stood on the floor and it crashed me back into the floor as the rope came down and then picked me back up again. My foot came out of my shoe so I came crashing to the ground and I caught my head on the box and on the floor on the way down, so I was bleeding quite heavily."
