    Worcestershire won their Royal London One-Day Cup match against Durham in dramatic fashion last night at New Road.

    Despite a century from opener Graham Clark, the visitors fell 15 runs short - losing eight wickets for just 87 runs

    Chasing 271, Durham looked well set on 151-1 in the 29th over before Daryl Mitchell (3-38) and John Hastings (3-50) tore through the Durham order.

    Graham Clark struck 114 and Keaton Jennings 47, but no other visiting batsman reached 20 as they made 255-9. 

    The win guarantees Worcestershire a quarter-final place in the competition.

    Almost 450 fines were handed out to litter louts in Herefordshire and Worcestershire over the past 17 months. 

    Between April of last year and March of this year, Worcester City handed out 346 fines whereas in the same time-frame Malvern issued only four and Redditch and Bromsgrove none at all.
