    The West Park Health Walk has been launched in Goole by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

    The next one takes place on Wednesday 15 March. The group meets at 10.30 and the walk lasts for 30 minutes.

    The Christmas Tree Festival is coming back to St Wulfram's church this December - but with a difference.

    As well as an indoor ice-rink organisers want to put a toboggan run in it as well!

    Father Stuart Craddock is the vicar behind it, this is what happened when he tried to show off the rink last time:

    Driffield are looking for musicians to play in the street when the Tour de Yorkshire, external bike race arrives in the town.

    People who live there have been frustrated over the past few years, as the race has never been through the area.

    But this time the race will pass right through the town centre on 28 April and they want to go all out to entertain the crowds.

    We heard earlier how a legendary Hull boxer was returning home to be honoured at the Women of the World Festival, external this weekend.

    Barbara Buttrick became the world's first women's boxing champion in 1957.

    She's been along to St. Paul's gym, which trained Olympic gold medalist Luke Campbell, to look at the new talent coming out of the city.

    A man from Hull whose son tried to take his own life is encouraging men to talk about their problems and seek support.

    An East Yorkshire vicar has been sent to prison for three years for sexually abusing a young boy three decades ago.

    David Fletcher, who is 63, from Pulham Lane in Wetwang worked as a headteacher at a Bradford school in the late 1980s. He was found guilty by the jury of two allegations of indecent assault.

    He's not worked as a vicar since being charged.

    A man's appeared in court following a series of car thefts across Hull and East Yorkshire on Friday morning.

    Leon Ndenu, 23, of no fixed address is charged with 12 offences, four counts of robbery, four of attempted robbery, two of assault, one of possession of an offensive weapon and one of possession of an imitation firearm.

    He was remanded in custody and will go before Hull Crown Court next month.

    Mary was one of four incredible women who championed the rights of the city's fishermen following the Triple Trawler Tragedy of 1968.

    Grimsby Town have confirmed, external  Gavin Gunning will not return to the club until next week after suffering a head injury at the weekend. 

    He was stretchered from the field following a collision with keeper James McKeown in the game against Wycombe.

    The club say physio Dave Moore has spoken to the player and that he "is doing fine" but concussion protocol say he must undergo a week of complete rest before he's able to rejoin his team-mates.
