    I've been out in Scunthorpe this morning, looking at how the Council measures air quality close to the steelworks.

    The World Health Organisation has today linked air pollution to 600,000 child deaths.

    I've been talking on BBC Radio Humberside's Morning Show today about Friday's carjacking incidents in Hull.

    I asked Humberside Police if they had given enough information to the public to make them feel safe, after reports of armed men attempting to steal cars emerged:

    Lots of plastic waste ended up on Spurn Point after recent stormy weather.

    We went to meet some very clever puppies for BBC Radio Humberside's Breakfast Show today.

    Canine Partners, external are looking for more people in our area to help them raise assistance dogs.

    The dogs help people with disabilities to have greater independence.

    One of East Yorkshire's most famous boxers will be celebrated in Hull next weekend.

    Barbara Buttrick blazed a trail for women's boxing in the 1950s and now her career will be remembered as part of the Women of the World Festival. , external

    She now lives in Miami but has been back in Hull meeting the next generation of fighters.

    Yesterday at around 06:30, a man was found dead along an alley way off David Street in Grimsby. 

    Police say his death is not believed to be suspicious and they're working to establish his identity.

    At the start of the year Skegness RNLI got a brand new, state of the art lifeboat to replace their old craft which they'd used for 27 years.

    She's rescued almost 200 people during her time here, now she's heading up the coast to visit Grimsby before joining the reserve fleet in Poole in Dorset.

    The death of Mary Denness was announced over the weekend, she was 79.

    Mary Denness was one of a group of women from Hull, led by Lillian Belocca, who campaigned for better safety standards in the fishing industry in the 1960s.
