    This amusing misspelt sign outside a school in Winterton was first spotted earlier this morning by town councillor Paul McCartan. 

    The photo has been shared and retweeted across the internet. And now the contractors who did the work have been back to correct their mistake. 

    Yes, they just covered a bit of the 'O' to make it look like a 'C'.

    I spoke to North Lincolnshire Council who were concerned about mistakes like this happening again.

    A Hull table tennis club is appealing for help in order to keep their young players competing at a national level. 

    Ten young players at the St.Mary's Table Tennis Club are in the UK top 100. 

    They now need new kit and equipment in order to meet national guidelines. Head coach Shane Bradley says they are finding it difficult to meet costs:

    Two people have been arrested after a car smashed into four vehicles parked on a Cleethorpes street.

    Dramatic scenes of the crash, which happened on Barcroft Street on Wednesday afternoon, were captured on CCTV by resident Stewart Wilson.

    The footage shows passengers from the car walking away from the accident, with one carrying a dog.

    Humberside Police say nobody was injured.

    A 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the collision.

    The 23-year-old remains in custody.

    Thousands of people who stripped naked and were painted blue in the name of art in Hull last year, will get to see the finished photographs later. 

    The "Sea of Hull" by Spencer Tunick will go on show to the public tomorrow, but those who took part will get a special preview tonight. 

    It'll be part of an exhibition at the Feren's Art Gallery called "Skin, external"

    A drug called Spice is being taken more by homeless people in North East Lincolnshire. 

    Its a synthetic drug which can leave people in a so-called zombie-like state and cause hallucinations and psychosis. 

    Outreach workers in North East Lincolnshire have told the BBC they've seen a rise in the number of homeless people taking Spice and they're seeing teenagers selling it on the streets.

    A Hull company which designs rooms to protect sailors from attack has won a second Queen's Award for Enterprise. 

    Crewshield makes "safe rooms" disguised as shipping containers for crews to hide in in the event of terrorist or pirate attacks. 

    The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the highest official accolades for businesses within the UK.  

    Director Lawrie Hodges says it's a great achievement for a small company.

    With just a week to go until the start of the Tour de Yorkshire, preparations are already under way in communities across East Yorkshire. 

    Pocklington has really gone to down with bunting, blue and yellow bicycles and even Tour de Yorkshire ice cream.

    The first stage of the cycling race begins in Bridlington next Friday. Last year more than two million people lined the route across Yorkshire.

  10. Traffic and travel: Heavy traffic on the A159published at 08:30 British Summer Time 21 April 2017

    It's much slower than normal on the A159 northbound in Scunthorpe this morning. 

    It's especially bad between the Burringham Road traffic lights and the A18 - try to avoid it if you can because the delays will add between 15 and 20 minutes to your journey.

    A newspaper reporter from North East Lincolnshire is getting attention from around the world after she ended up winning a beauty pageant she was sent to cover. 

    Laura Gooderham, who works for the Grimsby Telegraph, was spotted when interviewing contestants at the Miss Great Grimsby event and was persuaded to enter.

    British Steel has received 5400 applications for 140 trainee positions at its Scunthorpe and Teesside operations. 

    The company is in the process of selecting the trainees with most of the new starters being based in Scunthorpe.

    The company recently announced that it had ended 2016 in profit and had taken on more than 350 new employees since it was launched in June.
