    A charity wants people in Hull to consider offering their spare rooms to young people at risk of homelessness.

    People with spare rooms asked to come forward

    SASH, external have been working in East Yorkshire for a number of years and they vet potential hosts in order to provide young people with somewhere to stay while they wait for appropriate long-term accommodation.

    They are now expanding into Hull.

    Reverends at Hull's Holy Trinity Church are hoping the building's rededication as a minster will help with their role in the community.

    The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, will lead the service on Saturday.

    A celebration in Holy Trinity Square will start at 12:00 followed by the official service at 15:00 BST.

    People driving through Humberston Avenue in Grimsby are being told to be aware of deer after one was hit by a car.

    Lisa Auty, whose friends were involved in the incident, said that building work in the area has caused deer to venture into roads, resulting in four accidents in recent weeks.

    A mother and daughter in the car at the time were unhurt. 

    The deer died of its injuries.

    A mental health charity in the region has voiced concern that too many people with mental health issues are coming into contact with the police, before they've receive community based treatment.

    The charity MIND says some people with problems aren't being identified early enough, which is putting extra pressure on the force.

    They say there should be more support in the community for people who find themselves in crisis.

    People living on a chalet park in East Yorkshire say they've been left having to consult with their neighbours if they want a shower.  

    Residents say they're dealing with low water pressure

    They say the water pressure at Colleys Park has been very low for months, and no-one is prepared to help. 

    Yorkshire Water says the problem isn't with them and the water pressure's fine until it gets to the caravan site.

    The owners of the site say they've hired independent investigators to look into the problem.

    Victims of child abuse are being urged to come forward with information and are being reassured their claims will be taken seriously.

    The Lucy Faithfull Foundation has spoken to BBC Radio Humberside after a former foster carer from Hull was handed a 19-year-jail sentence for a string of offences against the children in his care.

    Nationally, cases of child abuse have increased by 20% due to better police recording and more people coming forward.

    In the run-up to the general election on 8 June, we’re asking people to tell us what #GetsMyVote.

    Lucy Peryer, 20, from Driffield, who is a film student at Hull School of Art and Design, says a fairer benefits system is an important issue that's "close to my heart".

    Her mum, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, is assessed every two years and has faced difficulties with "her benefits being cut off", says the budding filmmaker.

    She says she would like assessors "to take a more personal interest in the people's lives that they're affecting".

    The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) has announced it will bring the production of Hamlet to Hull New Theatre in February next year.

    Humberside Police are appealing for help in trying to find 49-year-old Renata Antczak of Beamsley Way, Hull.

    Renata was last seen around 13:00 on Tuesday 25 April walking in the Kingswood area of Hull.

    She is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, with a slim build and straight shoulder length blond hair. 

    She was wearing a dark coloured (blue or black) trousers and a purple T-shirt.

    Humberside Police would like to speak to anyone who had contact with Renata between 08:30 and 13:00 on the 25 April, or who saw a black Mercedes C220 car WF13PCX she was using that morning.

    All of Yorkshire's ambulances are capable of carrying obese patients, that's according to figures released today as part of a BBC investigation.
