    P&O Ferries has announced more cancellations on its Hull to Zeebrugge route.

    The cancellations are due to the Pride of Bruges ferry being taken out of service until next week due to technical issues.

    P&O says it will be in touch with customers about alternative travel options.

    The BBC's David Burns understands Hull City's Harry Maguire is on the verge of signing for Leicester City.

    Maguire has a year left on his current deal, but was attracting attention from Premier League clubs.

    Maguire joined Hull for £2.5m from Sheffield United in July 2014.

    The BBC understands a fee and personal terms have been agreed between by both clubs and Harry Maguire.

    Drivers are being warned to avoid the area if at all possible.

    A cat stuck up a tree was the reason for the closure of The Boulevard in Hull a little earlier, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service has revealed.

    Fire crews have successfully rescued the cat and traffic is now moving through the area, they say.

    I hope the cat is, er, "feline" happy at the trouble it's caused...

    A lorry has overturned on the A180/A15 junction closing the Barnetby Top roundabout.

    Drivers are being advised to avoid the area.

    The accident involves a lorry which has come to rest on its side, spilling a large amount of wood on to the carriageway.

    There is no access to the A180 from the A18. There is also no access to the roundabout from the A15 .

    A man who tried to to hug and kiss a woman after knocking on the door of her house in the early hours of the morning in his boxer shorts is being sought by police.

    The incident happened at about 02:00 on Sunday 28 May on Cromwell Road, Grimsby.

    Although the victim was not harmed, she has been left very shaken.

    The man is described as in his late teens to early twenties, white with a tanned complexion, with a thin but muscular build, about 5ft 5ins tall, with short blond hair and a local accent.

    A blue plaque dedicated to the Spiders From Mars will be unveiled in Hull tomorrow.

    The band were best known as David Bowie's backing group and members Mick Ronson, Trevor Bolder and Mick "Woody" Woodmansey were all from Hull or East Yorkshire.

    The plaque is due to be unveiled tomorrow as part of BBC Music Day at Hull Paragon Station.

    Former teachers from Hull are launching a new way to teach children to speak today, following concern about a fall in standards due to phone and tablet use among youngsters.

    There's concern nationally that more children are starting school without the ability to speak in fluent sentences, partly due to technology replacing early years conversations.

    The Chatta app is said to be the first of its kind in the world and teaches children how to speak through their own pictures and recordings.
