A court has heard that a carer from Bridlington stole more than £250,000 from a 102-year old woman.
Hull Crown Court heard that Julie Sayles, 59, bought two houses with money she transferred from a joint bank account she set up with Edith Negus.
The jury was told that Mrs Sayes, pictured below left, wrote a new will, leaving most of Ms Negus's remaining assets to her.
Sayles, who worked for a charity providing care to the elderly, is accused of fraud by abuse of position, buying properties with the proceeds of crime and making a fraudulent will and presenting it to a solicitor.
The court heard that Ms Negus, pictured above right, began receiving care from Friends of the Elderly when her physical and mental health began to deteriorate after her 100th birthday.
She died in October 2014. Sayles denies all the charges; the trial continues

The next part of the redevelopment will see an area where bands can play and a cafe area as well as street food stalls and late night opening.
