    Matthew Bone
    Video Journalist, BBC Look North

People with serious breathing problems could get better treatment, because of research led by the University of Hull.

Scientists say they have identified chronic breathlessness as a new condition, rather than just being a symptom of other heart or lung problems.

    Andrew Noble

They say it is leading to more targeted treatment for people who find it hard to breathe.

Andrew Noble (pictured), who has now been diagnosed with chronic breathlessness, said: "They showed me how to breathe properly.

"The nurses there, the trainers and physiotherapists were very, very helpful."

I don't think they've got tickets to get into Wembley on Saturday, but they'll certainly be supporting Hull FC in the comfort of their own homes... or maybe nearby drinking establishment if their owners can take them along.

Who'd have thought dogs were so into their rugby league?

The BT exchange on Scawby Road in Brigg was burgled on Tuesday.

Intruders climbed over the fence and broke into two vehicles stealing four high-vis jackets.

Police are concerned that these could be used by thieves to commit further crimes pretending to be genuine BT workers.

They are warning people to be aware of anyone cold-calling and say anyone approached should insist that photographic ID be shown.
