It's been revealed just one in five dental practices across the Yorkshire and Humber region currently accept new NHS patients. Just a quarter are offering places for children.

New research by the BBC has found just over 2,500 dentists offer treatment on the NHS in this region, which is a reduction of nearly 2% in the past two years. In some areas of Yorkshire it's nearly impossible to find a dentist at all.
NHS England says it is reviewing how it can improve access to dentists across the region and is also looking to improve capacity using its existing budget.
