MPs are calling for more funding to help the victims of rape and sexual assault across East Yorkshire and northern Lincolnshire.
Back in June, the Hull and Grimsby charity Survivors - which provided long-term help to men and women who had been the victim of sexual assaults - closed due to lack of funding.
But now Melanie Onn, the Labour MP for Grimsby, and Hull North Labour MP Diana Johnson say they hope a new service can be funded from the area.
Ms Johnson says it's vital victims are offered support: "The key thing for me is that the government had allocated money to survivors - nearly £70,000 - and I don't want that money just disappearing."
Both MPs are due to meet Home Office and health officials later as well as Humberside Police representatives to look at commissioning a new service for those facing trauma.
